Dalai Lama Hopes for 30-40 More Years, Succession Plans Reaffirmed

He also reiterated that the Gaden Phodrang Trust, his non-profit organization, holds the exclusive authority to recognize his successor, defying Beijing's claims of control over the reincarnation process.
